STAFF RESEARCH PSYCHOLOGIST—PTSD CENTER: The Behavioral Science Division (Boston) of the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder anticipates one or more staff positions with duties beginning in 2012. The National Center is a multisite consortium within the Department of Veteran Affairs. The Behavioral Science Division is nationally recognized for developing model research and clinical programs in stress and trauma. The division has outstanding resources, and exceptional opportunities exist for professional collaboration locally, across National Center divisions, and in military and DoD settings. A major focus of National Center research is adjustment following military service, but candidates who have background in related areas or with other types of trauma are welcomed. The training focuses on work with an adult forensic population. The training involves forensic clinical evaluation and consultation experiences at inpatient forensic units and court clinics.
