LECTURER IN PSYCHOLOGY: The Psychology program at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is seeking a full-time, non-tenuretrack lecturer in clinical/counseling psychology. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PSYCHOLOGY: Washington & Jefferson College and its Department of Psychology invite applications for the tenure-track position of assistant professor of psychology beginning in August 2012. We seek an individual with a specific interest in I/O psychology, but also broadly trained in experimental methodology and interested in teaching undergraduate students and involving them in research. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses that include elementary psychology, industrial and management courses, and an advanced laboratory course focusing on the candidate’s area of interest. The ideal candidate will also consider teaching one section per year of a first-year seminar course. Review of applications will begin on January 15, 2012. POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY: The Division of Psychiatry at Geisinger Medical Center is inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in adult clinical neuropsychology beginning July or September 2012. The postdoctoral fellow will provide outpatient neuropsychological evaluations to patients referred from primary care physicians, psychiatrists and neurologists. The postdoctoral fellow will also help provide inpatient consultations to specialty medical services, including Trauma surgery, psychiatry, medicine, and physical medicine & rehabilitation. Geisinger Medical Center is a Level One Trauma Center. The fellow will have the opportunity to serve as a multidisciplinary team member providing inpatient neuropsychological consults to the Division of Trauma Surgery for patients with head injuries. The fellow will gain experience and training throughout the fellowship with neuropsychological assessments of patients with traumatic brain injuries, dementia, and neuropsychiatric disorders. The fellow will attend weekly didactics including case studies and be responsible for a research project and have opportunity to provide educational presentations. This is a two-year fellowship. Annual stipend is $37,270 plus continuing education allowance and benefits. Requirements include: doctoral candidate at APA-accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology, APA-accredited pre-doctoral clinical internship with experience in neuropsychology, letter from dissertation chair stating anticipated completion of dissertation by June 2012 for a July start date or August 2012 for a September start date. Experience in a medical setting is preferred but not required.
