For the first time ever, the Intermountain Ski Council will host the Annual Far West Ski Association Convention, which will take place June 7-10, 2012, in Ogden, Utah. The theme of “How the West is ONE!” will emphasize the efforts of bringing together all 11 ski councils covering 13 western states for this great event in the beautiful intermountain west. The weekend will celebrate the Far West’s 80th Convention by presenting some fun activities with a western flair and hospitality. The FWSA Convention will be held at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center (www.oecenter.com), a state-of the-art facility with magnificent windowed walls, which create bright daylight-filled hallways, while revealing breathtaking mountain views. Convenient lodging is provided at the adjoining Hampton Inn and Suites, and the nearby Marriott, in downtown Ogden. Located between the beautiful Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake, the views are spectacular, and the city welcomes attendees with truly downhome hospitality and luxurious comfort. The Conference Center is located just 40 minutes
from Salt Lake City International Airport.
