The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota will always hold a bit of magic for one young guest. After dining with his family at The Vernona restaurant, the boy left behind his stuffed animal, only to be discovered later that evening by staff. Charmed by their lost friend, the staff took the stuffed animal on a tour of the hotel, taking photos of it cooking, dining and playing the piano. The little boy was elated to receive his stuffed companion the next morning along with a picture book of “animal adventures” documenting the fun. His mother explained, “The Ritz-Carlton always goes that extra mile — this is why my family will only travel to your hotels.”
