NOT ES FROM T HE CONCIERGE A PERFECT DAY IN KUALA LUMPUR After a stroll on the manicured grounds of Lake Gardens, you may want to visit Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, the world’s largest free-ﬂight, walk-in aviary, or stop by the Islamic Arts Museum, Southeast Asia’s largest of its kind. Go for some Indian food in Brickﬁelds, also known as Kuala Lumpur’s Little India, then hop on the monorail to Chinatown and nearby Central Market for traditional souvenirs. The City Center area is steeped in history. Have a walk around the Old Railway Station, where the Eastern and Orient Express trains still stop. Merdeka Square nearby is a national gathering point and the impressive Jamek Mosque is a monument to Malaysia’s rich Islamic heritage.
