To enhance the formal festivities, wedding designers set tables in the sand and decorated each with crystal embellishments, including candlesticks, napkin holders and a dramatic crystal tree centerpiece, says Stella Zhang, public relations manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya. The newlyweds included many personalized details to make the party more meaningful, Zhang says. They began the fete with a slide show of photographs taken during their courtship to convey their love story in a one-of-a-kind way. Later, the couple treated guests to a song they wrote and sang.
