1 When I was a child I dreamed of being a rock star, a policeman, a football player and the president. Doesn’t everyone? Louis I. Heller, M.D. In his own words 2 My first job was as a stock boy for Howard Clothes in New York. 3 Right now on my iPod I’m listening to the Drifters, Oscar Peterson, and Jeff Beck’s “I Ain’t Superstitious.” In general, my wife complains that I prefer artists who are either blind or deceased. 4 To unwind after a long day I read, exercise, play guitar or play Call of Duty: Black Ops on Xbox with my son. 5 Right now I am reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. This is the third book in the Millennium Trilogy. I was hooked after the first one. I love how the author empowered a 95-pound woman on the margin of society and made her the book’s superhero/heroine. 7 I realized I wanted to be a doctor when I realized how much I admired and respected my pediatrician. He made a big difference in many people’s lives. 6 If a movie were made about me, I would be played by Ben Stiller or Robin Williams. The story isn’t very interesting, so it would need a few laughs. 9 My first car was a used Fiat 124 Spider convertible that had a bad head gasket and essentially operated on three cylinders. It boasted 20 miles per gallon and 20 miles per quart of oil as well. 8 If I could be any entertainer, I would be Eric Clapton, because he plays the kind of music I like and is still a commercial success. 10 My favorite holiday tradition is watching the National Dog Show on television with my family every Thanksgiving.
