his	year	marks	a	major	milestone	for	the	School	of	 Pharmacy	when	we	celebrate	100	years	of	education,	 patient	care	and	scientific	discovery.

Come	celebrate	with	us	on	Oct.	21	with	Maya	Angelou	at	 the	Paramount	Theatre	or	Oct.	22	at	the	homecoming	game,	 and	during	other	events	throughout	the	 year.	We	encourage	you	to	visit	us	at	our	 new	building	at	the	Anschutz	Medical	 Campus,	reconnect	during	the	homecoming	game	or	just	check	us	out	on	 our	facebook	site	at	www.facebook.com/ CUPharmacy,	and	see	how	far	we’ve	 come	since	you	graduated.	 We’re	even	shining	a	little	light	on	our	 100th	anniversary	with	school	of		 pharmacy	light	pole	signage	throughout	 campus,	highlighting	achievements	from	 the	last	100	years,	a	special	logo,		 giveaways,	and	our	new	CU	Skaggs	 School	of	Pharmacy	pin.	The	signage	

move – twice at the Anschutz Medical Campus. In the capacity of building project manager, Susan has overseen the construction of the new building, and consulted with architects and design engineers to assure that the users’ specifications were met and the project came in on time and under budget. During her years with the school, Susan has been the central figure in overseeing its physical footprint increase from less than 50,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft at the Health Sciences Center in Denver to 170,000 sq ft at the new facility on the Anschutz Medical Campus. “What Susan has done for the school is simply exceptional,” says Dean Altiere. “Her commitment to the school during the past 33 years has been extraordinary.”
